He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Sleger and Clara Sleger (Miller); his wife Ruth Sleger of Paul's Catholic Church; his siblings, Martin Sleger Jr. and Delores Biel; his parents-in-law, Theodore and Josephine Wachowski; and his siblings-in-law, Lester "Jimmy" Wachowski, Elaine Schultz (Albert "Butch"), Dolores Larson (Orlis), Helen Heinrichs Jr. (Elmer "Butch") and Eugene "Yatch" Kalista.
He is survived by: his children, Laurie Cisler (Pat), Linda Schepper (Joseph), Lee Sleger (Sharon), Larry Sleger (Kirsten), Lenny Sleger (Margie) and Luanne Koon (Ken); and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Biel and Darlene Kalista. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; several step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
