She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bever and Rose Bever (Jung); her husband Wendell Smith; and her brothers, Jerome Bever (Marge), Elroy Bever and Michael Bever.

She is survived by: her children, Gregg Smith (Bridget) of Midland, MI, Brad Smith (Kim) of Mukwonago, WI and Brenda Smith of Two Rivers, WI.; her grandchildren, Ryan Smith (Ashley) of Mukwonago, Garrett Smith of Midland, MI, Nicole Fitak of Freeland, MI and Danielle Hillmer (Michael) of Eagle, WI.; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Timko, Audry Fitak, Isla, Lochland Smith, Greyson and Braelyn Hillmer; and her sister Marilyn Bever (Fon).
