She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Sr. Petska and Viola Petska (Shimon); her husband Donald H. Samz; her son David Samz; her brother Eugene Petska Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Bonnie Petska, Jerry Schmidt and Wayne Mertens.
She is survived by: her children, Cheri Sylla (David), Dawn Wendt (Roy), Green Bay, Michael Samz (Sarah), Tina Buelow (Mike) and Carrie McMahon (Todd); her grandchildren, Wesley (Jordan), Eric, Brian (Becky), Kevin (Melissa), Abby (Graham), Samantha, Cadance, Ethan, Keira, Savannah and Addy; her great grandchildren, Jasper, Dexter, Zoe, Steven, Brady, Elizabeth, Evelyn and Lucas; her sister Beverly Nowicki (Bernard) of Cedarburg; her sisters-in-law, Carol Mertens of Manitowoc and Gloria Schmidt of Manitowoc; and her extended family Violet Schlegel of Janesville. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
