He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Christian Adolph Nagel and Rose Elizabeth Nagel (Hippert); and his sisters, Nina [Clarence] Miller, Ruth [Earl] Fronk, Grace [Alvin] Streubel and Dorothy [Gilbert] Cherveny.
He is survived by: his son Mark; his daughter-in-law Jayne Nagel (Dhein) of Manitowoc; his grandchildren, Halle Nagel and Nicholas Nagel; his daughter Catherine (Nagel); his son-in-law Terry Schmitt of Manitowoc; his grandchildren, Rachel [Joseph] Nickels, Matthew Schmitt and Jacob [Cheyenne] Schmitt; his great grandchildren, Hannah, Logan and Emma Nickels; his grandchildren, Lincoln and Eleanor Schmitt; and his sisters-in-law, Patti Markusen and Darlene Konop. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church - Two Rivers (3607 45th St, Two Rivers, WI 54241). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
