Karen A. Bauknecht Obituary
We announce the death of Karen A. Bauknecht (Two Rivers, Wisconsin), who passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 68. Karen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Kobes and Dorothy Kobes; her father-in-law Richard Bauknecht; and her brother-in-law Greg Bauknecht. She is survived by: her husband Dan Bauknecht; her children, Sarah Kunz (Troy), Amy Sampe (Luke) and Scott Bauknecht (Kim Zellmer); her grandchildren, Evan and Chloe Kunz; her children, Owen, Adyson and Emma Sampe; her siblings, Dalen Kobes (Janice Theriault), Gary Kobes (Ruth), Larry Kobes, Gene Kobes (Lynn) and Janice Leclair (John); and her mother-in-law Pearl Bauknecht. She is also survived by several brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church (3201 Mishicot Rd, Two Rivers, WI 54241). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
