He is survived by: his wife Lynne Malfroid of Mark's Catholic Church; his children, John Compton (Cindy Vandenhouten), Kay Frish (Shane) and James Froelich (Carrie); his grandchildren, Aaron Compton (Katrina Stewart), Jason Berg, Laurin Andrews (Scott), Audrey Naab (Jesse), Jack and Eleanor Froelich; his great grandchildren, Charles John Robert Compton, Elijah, Ethan Andrews, Oliver, Wyatt and Lucy Naab; and his siblings, Theresa Barta, Kenneth Froelich (Jan), James Froelich, Gladys Schommer, Ann Froelich, Mary Augustian (Richard), Charles Froelich (Shirley) and Michael Froelich (Chris).
