He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin Sturdevant and Genevieve Marie Sturdevant (Bernard); and his siblings, Elsie, Eugene and Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Shela Sturdevant (Jackson); his daughters, Crystal Carter (Sturdevant) of Kenosha and Nicole Ryan (Heath Ryan) of Kenosha; his grandchildren, Shelby VanHecker (Michael VanHecker) of Milton, WI and Tyler Carter (Daniela); his great grandchild Rafael Benjamin Carter; his siblings, George Sturdevant and Susan Jones (Sturdevant); his caregiver Froedtert; Birdie and Bogey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
