With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Carl Straubel (Union Grove, Wisconsin), born in Racine, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 9, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert E. Straubel and Leone S. Straubel (Janecky); his siblings, Bette Shaw and James L. Straubel; and his nephew Bradly Straubel.

He is survived by : his wife Jackie; his children, Mark Straubel (Linda), Tim Straubel and Michelle Weber (Doug); his grandchildren, Nicholas Weber (Ashley), Andrew Weber, Peyton and David Straubel; his great grandchildren, Rilee and Noah Weber; and his nieces and nephews, Raymond Straubel, David Sheen, Stan Weiser, Jill Peterson and Debra Horton.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home (4600 County Line Rd, Mt Pleasant, WI 53403). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 2:45 PM at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery (21731 Spring St, Union Grove, WI 53182).
