He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Spease and Rozella Spease (Woodward). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Parker; his sons, Kevin (Kim Lambert) and Kelly; his sisters, Helen Gobracht and Joyce Meininger (Mark); his grandchildren, Michelle Vega, Stephanie (David) and Donald Reuter; his great grandchild David; his aunts, Carolyn and Bertha; and his cousin Patty. He is also survived by nephews, cousins, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials to the Wisconsin Humane Society or the Kansasville Fire Department in Don's honor.
