He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Kasper and Fern Kasper (Laabs); his wife Joanne Scheer; his son Lyle; his grandson Trent Hardrath; his great grandchild Ella Gosse; and his siblings, Jerome Kasper and Betty Nienow (Allen).
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Hardrath of Colby and Luanne Gosse (Bill) of Marshfield; and his grandchildren, Travis Hardrath (Pam), Troy Hardrath (Luci), Tyler, Spring Villasensor (Jo), Lucas Kasper (Natsue), Kirstin Bernard (Travis), Christopher Gosse (Brooke) and Clint Gosse (Liz). He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
