Richard H. Reis Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard H. Reis Sr. of Unity, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 1, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard H. Reis Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob J. Reis and Emma E. Reis (Schaum); his wife Virginia; his sons, Richard and David Reis; his daughter-in-law Colleen Reis; and his siblings, Jacob, Norman, Raymond Reis and Delores Lis.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Esselman (John Baird) of Colby, Andrew Reis of Unity, Daniel Reis (Carmen) of Marshfield, Patrick Reis (Kulani) of Unity, Emma Jo Zettler (Allen) of Colby, Mary Ann Rinehart (Rob) of Willard, Anthony Reis (Jody) of Unity, Junitta Nikolai (Todd) of Loyal and Elizabeth Nikolai (Roger) of Loyal; and his brother Aloysius Reis of Claysville, PA. He is also survived by 53 grandchildren and 54 great-grandchildren; two sisters.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (407 N Division St, Loyal, WI 54446). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
