He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Meyer and Ovila Meyer (Rautman); his wife Gladys Hackbarth; his son-in-law Joseph Gries; his granddaughter Rachel Peterson; his siblings, Joyce Voight (Henry), Bernice Schneider (Elmwood), Doris Meyer, Margie Brueckman (Ronald), Lloyd Meyer and Gene Meyer; and his siblings-in-law, Delmar Hackbarth, Beatrice Mattes (Kenneth) and Jeanette Erickson (Alton).
He is survived by: his children, Douglas Meyer of Stillwater, MN, David Meyer (Laurel), Dianna Niesen (Robert), Dean Meyer (Jayne), Donna DeRosa, Doreen LaMirande (Jon), Deborah Peterson and Dawn Smoot (Donald); his grandchildren, Julie, Kenzie, Angela, Pamela, Joseph, Jeffery, Laura, Joshua, Jamie, Andrea, Kate, Sasha, Aric, Alicia, Antonio, Sara, Jacob, Ethan, Alayna and Kayla; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Hackbarth (Diane), Kathy Hackbarth and Sally Meyer. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
