With sadness, we share the passing of Ginger A. Linsmeier (Valders, Wisconsin). Ginger, born on January 7, 1959, passed away on August 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Lawrence "Larry" Madson; her sisters, Kari Reinertson and Kris; her niece Dawn Hill; her great-nephew Bentley McDonald; her friend Linda Gunderson; her grandparents, Palmer, Christina Madson, Earl and Lucille Berge; and her parents-in-law, Al and Elaine Linsmeier.
She is survived by: her mother Joy Madson (Berge); her husband Robert Linsmeier; her children, Jessica Evans (Aaron), Nic Franz (Holly) and Craig Franz (Kara Pankratz); her stepchildren, Jennifer Pingel (Kirk), Scott Linsmeier (Amanda) and Jessica Getter (Kyle); her grandchildren, Brielle, Zac, Josie, Breckin, Tenley, Lawson, Eva and Leo; her stepgrandchildren, Gavin, Lilah, Bram, Maren, Sela, Veda and Quinn; her siblings, Tom Madson (Rae), Jodi Goehring (Robert) and Kevin Madson (Julie); her siblings-in-law, Peter Reinertson (Lisa Lutzke), Jim Linsmeier (Linda), Karen Loberger (John), Jackie Schisel (Lee), Lois Keehan (Pat) and Joe Linsmeier (Deb); and the father of her children Paul Franz.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (255 W Roosevelt St, Valders, WI 54245). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ginger's name to Cancer Research at Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin.
