It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary David Ausman of Verona, Wisconsin, born in Merrill, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 9, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Linda Isaacs; his brother Allan Ausman (Joanne); and his brother-in-law Frank Jellinek. He is survived by: his wife Kerry; his daughters, Jessica "Jessi" Ausman, Katherine "Katie" Ausman and Alexandra "Lexi" Ausman; his siblings, Judith Jellinek, Barbara Killen (Eric), Dennis Ausman (Minty) and Richard Ausman (Sara); his nephew Matthew Ausman (Christine); and his parents-in-law, Jim and Jane Fox. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Gary's honor to The Badger Herald (badgerherald.com/donate), a UW nonprofit campus newspaper.
