He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Karen Berkner, Mark Berkner (Amy), Laura Berkner (Chris Scheel) and Maureen Boyt (Todd); his grandchildren, Casey, Nick Murphy, Reilly, Caiden Boyt, Cecelia DeLay, Elsa Berkner, Tyler and Amanda Scheel; his siblings, Marian Verlot (Frank) and Tom Berkner (Mary); and his sister-in-law Donna Berkner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
