We are sad to announce that on May 13, 2023, at the age of 96, Justine Emily Schmid (Verona, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Strassman and Lulu Strassman; her husband Robert Schmid (Bob); her son Tommy; her siblings, James Strassman (Mary), Carl Strassman (Kate), Norman Strassman (Angie), Howard Strassman (Helen), Eddie Strassman, Mary Lou Short (Bob) and Genevieve Flynn (Ed); her son-in-law Doug Anderson; and her great grandchild Zachary Jenkins.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Anderson, Patricia Matts (Bob), Beverly Tucker (Dennis), Coleen Downing (Dave), Sandra Carley, Bill Schmid (Sara) and Allen Schmid (Susan). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Zwingli United Church of Christ in Mt Vernon WI or a charity of your choice.
