The memory of Richard Klawiter of Verona, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 8, 2025 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Klawiter and Phyllis Klawiter. He is survived by: his children, Mark Klawiter (Karis) of Verona, Elizabeth Ihm (AJ) of Buford, GA and Alison Klein (Jonathan) of Verona; his grandchildren, Sidney, Reagan, Jack (Jadyn), Remy, Bradley, Jackson, Lauren and Parker; and his sisters, Sylvia Kurowski (Larry) of Platteville and Cindy DeGarmo (Marlin) of La Crosse.
A reception will be held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ullsvik Hall - Uw Platteville (1 University Plaza, Platteville, WI 53818).
In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who wish to honor Dick's memory to consider donations to the UW-Platteville Foundation, the Grant County Humane Society or Agrace Hospice.
