Robert E. Davis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert E. Davis of Verona, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Davis and Rose Davis (Schmid); his wife Doris Doerfer; his daughter-in-law Kathleen Davis; his siblings-in-law, Jean, George Hanson, Richard, Beverly Doerfer, Stanley Hermanson and Joseph Sarbacker; and his brother Richard Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Alton Davis (Ann), Katherine Probst (Paul), Mark Davis and Paul Davis; his sisters, Ruth Davis and Esther Sarbacker; and his sister-in-law Joyce Hermanson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. James Lutheran Church (427 S Main St, Verona, WI 53593). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to a local charity of your choice.
