He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Ann; his father Earl (Marian); his siblings, Delos, Warren and Marcia Showers; his siblings-in-law, Carolyn, Tom Cooley, Rodger Showers and John Foster; and his sons-in-law, Dan Tomas and Roger Meyer.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Meyer, David (Cheryl), Doris Tomas and Diane (Cory Betz); his grandchildren, Jason Meyer, Andrew Meyer, Eric Tomas (Darrah), Matthew Tomas (Kayla) and Candace McDonald (Carroll); his siblings, Kevin, Gary (Mae) and Sharon Cooley; and his sisters-in-law, Rita, Liz and Judy Foster. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Memorial Baptist Church (201 S Main St, Verona, WI 53593). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
