She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Abelt and Herman Abelt; her husband Leslie Wistenberg; her daughter-in-law Jean Miller-Carpenter; her sisters, Doris Olson (Herb) and Muriel Burnard; her siblings' children, Debbie Liebakken, Jeff Burnard, Verl Poole, Carl Poole, Judi Ziegelmann (Wistenberg), Jeanie Hellwig and Janet Nedrelo; and her siblings-in-law, Adolph Wistenberg (Flossie), Emil Wistenberg (Cora), Walter Wistenberg (Geneva), Henry Wistenberg (Mary) and Clara Poole (Verl).
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Carpenter and Lexy Wistenberg (Joe Nepsa); her grandson Joey Nepsa; and her sibling's children, Donny Burnard (Diane), Carla Milne, Andrea Schaack, Nick Burnard (Kristine), Barb Suech, Lisa Olson (Darcy), Steve Olson (Monica), Roberta Neupert (Mike), Dixie Showen (Wistenberg) and Phillip Wistenberg (Pat).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
