She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Mezera and Lucy Mezera; her husband Paul Scheckel of John's Catholic Church; her son Isidore; her granddaughter Jessica Allison Olson; her great grandchild Esther Elizabeth Stewart; and her siblings, Clem (Catherine Mezera), Dan (Phyllis Mezera), Chad (Pat Mezera), Wenceslaus (Sharon Mezera), Mary (Harry Shedivy) and Monica (Lawrence Bay).
She is survived by: her children, Paula Olson (Claude) of Wild Rose, WI, Ruth (Gerard) of Soldiers Grove, WI, Clara Scheckel of Menomonee Falls, WI, Donald Scheckel (Martha) of Beltsville, MD and Vincent Scheckel (Sally) of Rochester, MN; her grandchildren, Luke Olson (Patricia), Emily Stewart (William), Mariah Harris (Benjamin), Elizabeth Nofsinger (Aden), William Scheckel (Kassie), Nicholas Scheckel, Zachary Scheckel and Jessica Scheckel (Adam Millburg); her great grandchildren, Samuel, Zoe Olson, Everly, Sloane, Audrey Stewart, Isadora, Ronan, Ada Harris, Melanie, Barrett, Declan Nofsinger, Shae and Caelyn Scheckel; and her siblings-in-law, Charlotte Scheckel, Beverly Scheckel and John Stern. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Creamery Creek Assisted Living in Viroqua, WI, St. Croix Hospice or St. Philip's Catholic Church.
