He is survived by : his children, Jonathan Fortney, Miranda Holmes (Josh), Megan Culpitt and Eliana Walz; his close friends, Travis and Sue Fronk; his granddaughters, Athena Kudron and Karstyn Walker; his siblings, Atley Jim Fortney (Ruby), Joseph Fortney (Darlene), Julie Ann Peterson (Larry), Jackie Getter (Roger) and Matthew Jay Fortney (Lisa); his nieces and nephews, Josh Hanson, James, Jason, Jeremy, Cole, Logan, Joe Jr., Luke Fortney, Brandon Zieman, Angela Salmon, Kimberly Fortney, Kristin Pagel, Katie Sabalones, Leslie Getter-Henrikson and Jessica Huschka; and his former life partner Katherine Walz. He is also survived by his cousins and many dear friends.
