He is survived by: his significant other Miny Hirschfield; his sons, Matt Hirschfield (Amber) and Joe Hirschfield; his grandchildren, Robert and Charli Hirschfield; his sibling's children, Ben Kappler, Chris Kappler (Sara) and Katie (John); and his daughters, Sasha, Sophie and Lu Lu.
