She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Dahl and Laura Dahl (Myhre); her husband Melvin Young; her sons, Larry Young and Mark Young; her son-in-law Harry McLees; her siblings, Wesley Dahl (Annette), David Dahl, Verlyn Dahl, Charlene Hotlen and Audrey Manders; and her siblings-in-law, William Manders and Oknan Dahl.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Young (Gwen), Cheryl Walsh (John "Tom"), Lisa McLees, Kristi Buroker (Jeff) and Tim Young (Carol); her siblings, Anita Bina (Lester) and Charles Dahl; her daughters-in-law, Lisa Young and Theresa Young; and her siblings-in-law, Howard Hotlen, Mary Dahl and Elaine Dahl. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (504 S Main St, Viroqua, WI 54665). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
