With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lauren Robert Asplund of Walworth, Wisconsin, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on December 22, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Lauren had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Lauren may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Asplund; and his son David Asplund. He is survived by: his children, Richard Asplund (Deanna) of Highland Park and Laurie Asplund (Danny VanHouten) of Monroe, Wisconsin.; and his grandchildren, Kayln (William), Melissa (John), Bobby, Alec (Lizzy) and Teddy (Bee). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
