He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Schmidt (Wojewoda); and his children, Carol Taglia (Peter), Pattie Tupek (Garry), Bill Schmidt (Margo), Steve Schmidt (Debbie), Pam Mitchell (Allen), Mike Schmidt and Bob Schmidt (Mel). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; as well as one great-great grandchild.
