He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Brand and Mary Brand; his son Walter "Wally" Brand; and his brother David (Alvin Brand). He is survived by: his wife Mary Brand (Reuille); his daughter Michele Wick (Brian); his grandchildren, Eric, Brady Wick and Codie Brand-Tessier; and his siblings, Michael Brand (Gwen), Gloria Sandie (Ron) and Marilyn Novotny (Tom).
He gladly donated cases of wine for charitable fundraisers.
