He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sr. Mattson and Lorraine Mattson (Zanto); and his brother Jeffery. He is survived by: his wife Christine of Washburn; his son Shawn Mattson (Kelly Kmetz) of Ashland; and his siblings, Phillip Mattson of Washburn, Robert Mattson Jr. (Monique) of Washburn and Sandra Waldrop (Jim) of Washburn. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.
