She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Kirklewski and Regina Kirklewski (Kontny); her former husband Gary R. Lumberg; and her parents-in-law, Roy, Dorothy Lumberg, George and Elsie Gilbertson.

She is survived by: her husband Gordon G. Gilbertson; her children, Kim Yeager (Jeff), Jon Lumberg (Bonnie), Terri Bretting (Paul) and Eric Lumberg (Jodi Nash); her grandchildren, Andrew Smith, Jordan Smith (Julie), Devin Smith, Tad Bretting (Nikki), Blake Bretting (Katlyn), Olivia Hintze (Jacob), Amanda and Luke Lumberg; her great grandchildren, Mavrik, Grace Bretting and Avery Hintze; her siblings, Donald Kirklewski, Mary Mullin (Luke) and Alice Hallberg; her sister-in-law Kathleen Bouchard; and her stepchildren, Tammy McPherson (Bill), Gerald Gilbertson (Marcy) and Charles Gilbertson (Deb). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Ashland Little League and the Ashland and Washburn Quilting Circles are preferred.
