It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Duane Ovaska of Washburn, Wisconsin, born in Ashland, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 15, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Ovaska and Ruth Ovaska (Korpela). He is survived by: his wife Linda L. Ihme; his children, Amber Ovaska, Cassandra Meitner (Steve) and Nick Ovaska (Teri); his brothers, James, Kenny and David Ovaska (Jeanie); and his grandchildren, Rylee, Ethan, Mya and Sadie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made out to the Ashland Oredocker Class of 1961 Scholarship Fund.
