He is survived by: his parents, David Hecht and Karen Wollenburg (Stromski); his wife Liz; his children, Matthew Hecht (Ashley Ellefson) and Helen Peppler (Nicholas); and his siblings, Elizabeth "Beth" Hecht (John Schwingel), Jennifer Hecht and Noah Wollenburg (Emmy). He is also survived by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
