He was predeceased by: his parents, Violet Riege (Krueger) and Jerome Riege. He is survived by: his wife Deb (Ittner) of Paul's Lutheran Church; his children, Kelly Thurnbauer (Rory), Courtney Brandt (Will), Derek Thurnbauer (Jenelle) and Joshua Cirillo (Jill); his grandchildren, Dylan, Keira, Brenden, Sienna, Avery and Asher; his siblings, Shirley Jaeger (Dean) and Jerry Riege (Cheri); and his sister-in-law Rosanne Schutte. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St John Ev. Lutheran Church - Waterloo (413 E Madison St, Waterloo, WI 53594). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Washington Cemetery (W11824 Cemetery Rd, Waterloo, WI 53594).
