He is survived by: his wife Rita Templeton of Joseph's Catholic Church; his stepdaughter Elizabeth Templeton; his children, Joel of Waterloo, John (Janet) of Janesville, Jane Cunningham (Jim) of Mequon and Jenny Sandmire (Dave) of Waterloo; his grandsons, Paul Kannenberg (Allison), Aaron Sandmire (Audrey Wood), Alex Sandmire, Nathan Cunningham and Joshua Cunningham; and his brother Thomas. He is also survived by other relatives, and friends.

Memorials in Jim's honor to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Waterloo, ELCA World Hunger, or a charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
