He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Horton and Mary Horton Rhadans; his former wife Margaret "Peggy" Gundrum; his brothers, Charles, William and Robert Horton; his wife Margaret Horton (Gundrum); and his stepbrother Dwayne Rhadans.
He is survived by: his daughters, April Kurtz (Jeff Halama), Amber Steindorf (Jason) and Allana Brunk (Kevin); the mother of his children Rose Zastrow; his grandchildren, Brianna Steindorf, Brady, Charles and Milo Brunk; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Malachi, Arleyah and Brycin Kurtz; his brother Larry Horton (Lori); and his stepbrothers, Glenn Rhadans (Pat) and Dean Rhadans.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home (500 Welsh Rd, Watertown, WI 53098). A memorial service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home of Watertown With (500 Welsh Rd, Watertown, WI 53098).
