We are sad to announce that, on February 21, 2026, at the age of 87, David M. Hanson of Watertown, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hanson and Gwendolyn Hanson (Dragseth); and his wife Sharon Heinrichs. He is survived by: his daughters, Leslie Draheim (Eric) and Jennifer Reese (Bret); his grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Ryan, Josh, James and William; and his brother Steve Hanson (Alice). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

Memorials in David's honor may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the Watertown Area Community Foundation.
