She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Stark and Dora Stark (Horn); her siblings, Ewald, Eva (Riebe) and Helen (Faultersack); her son-in-law Greg Julian; and her grandsons, Benjamin and Joseph Gillis.
She is survived by: her friend B. Lewis; her husband Thomas Gillis; her stepchildren, Darlene Armstrong (Douglas) of Mequon, Steven Gillis (Jeanne) of Watertown, Susan Ringer (James) of Fond du Lac and Wanda Fredrick (Timothy) of Watertown; her grandchildren, Peter Gillis (Samantha), Jacob Fredrick, Ashley Peirick (Cory), Taylor Fredrick (Natezia) and Beth Ringer (Victor Sanchez); her great grandchildren, Adele Peirick, Lucas Peirick, Athena Ringer Sanchez and Hannah Gillis; and her stepgrandsons, Tim Armstrong and Dan Armstrong. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (605 S 4th St, Watertown, WI 53094). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Lutheran Cemetery (557 Juneau St, Watertown, WI 53098).
Memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church, Rainbow Hospice, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 189, or the charity of your choice.
