It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene J. Egnarski of Watertown, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eugene J. Egnarski to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Egnarski and Helen Rose Egnarski (Wichlacz); and his brothers, Donald Egnarski, Joseph Ignarski, Roger Egnarski and James Egnarski.
He is survived by: his wife Bernadette Egnarski of Watertown; his children, Glenn Egnarski (Julie) of Watertown, Dan Egnarski (Susan) of Waukesha, Denise Pirkel (Randy Schultz) of Watertown, Todd Egnarski (Connie) of Watertown and Shelly Jannke (Mark) of Watertown; his grandchildren, Kendall Suhr (Jason), Brandon Egnarski (Amanda), Taylor Gerber (Eric), Sheena Gatzke (John), Nicole Sorensen (Ryan), Tyler Egnarski (Jade), Emily Kuerschner (Ryan), Megan Pirkel (Tim Haizel), Katie Gene Wisse (Brandon), Jill Hafeli (Eric), Kristi Gawel (Jake), Cody Jannke (Shandi), Kelsey Imberg (Ben) and Shane Jannke (Jasmine Kohls); his sisters-in-law, Geri Egnarski, Darlene Egnarski and Mary Ann Ignarski; and his caregiver Jenny. He is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hafemeister Funeral Home (611 E Main St, Watertown, WI 53094). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery (610 Milford St, Watertown, WI 53094).
