Grace V. Madsen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grace V. Madsen of Watertown, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 5, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Ohrmundt and Mary Ohrmundt; and her husband Gordon L. Madsen. She is survived by: her sons, Bill Madsen (Kathy Chiaverotti) of Muskego, Dave Madsen (Sue) of Watertown, Jeff Madsen (Kelly) of West Bend and Tom Madsen (Jean) of Watertown; her grandchildren, Beth Gerstbrein (Derek), Peter Madsen (Amie), Katie Cyrus (Ray), Laura Janny (Brad), Keri Jacoby (John), Ashley Wenninger (Jason), Monica Verbeten (Nathan), Shelly Strege (Matt) and Toni Flint (Andy); and her great grandchildren, Reagan Gerstbrein, Jake Madsen, Cora Cyrus, Camden Cyrus, Kaylee Janny, Isaac Janny, Gavin Wenninger, Aubrey Wenninger, Myles Verbeten, Adeline Verbeten, Dixie Strege, Kyla Strege and Callen Strege. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hafemeister Funeral Home (611 E Main St, Watertown, WI 53094). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Cemetery of Watertown Junea (625 Co Rd R, Watertown, WI 53098).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church with the memo "heat" on the memorial or to the charity of one's choice.
