He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Lorenz and Anna Lorenz; and his brother Leonard Lorenz. He is survived by: his wife Janet Lorenz of Watertown; his daughters, Michelle Abts (Shawn) of Pulaski and Jennifer Schroeder (Jon) of Sharpsburg, GA; his grandchildren, Nathan Abts, Caleb Abts, Jadin Abts, Keith Schroeder (Megan), Justin Schroeder (Alyssa) and Emily Schroeder; his sister Ann Seyfert (Gary) of Greenville; and his sister-in-law Beverly Lorenz of Watertown. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Memorials, if desired, would be appreciated to St. John's Lutheran Church in Watertown, Wounded Warrior Project, or to the charity of one's choice.
