He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his children, Danielle Schmidt (Gordy), Monica Schroeder (Michael), John Thurow (Katie), Ryan Thurow (Jennifer), Nadine Preinfalk (Jason), Michael Thurow (Andrea Hoppe) and Matthew Thurow; and his grandchildren, Christian Schmidt (Lillian), Jameson Schmidt (Carly), Jonathan Schmidt, Mathias Schmidt, Quinton Schmidt, Kiera Schroeder, Elias Schroeder, Alethia Schroeder, Aaron Thurow, Ayla Thurow, Anthony Bruhn (Chante), Aedan Bruhn, Arabella Thurow, Annaliese Thurow, Helena Preinfalk and Everett Preinfalk.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church (615 Jones St, Watertown, WI 53094). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Mark's Ev. Lutheran School, Lakeside Lutheran High School, Living Hope Ev. Lutheran Church in Wildomar, CA, or a memorial of your choice.
