He was predeceased by: his parents, William Coughlin and Grace Coughlin (Heppe); his brother Francis; and his daughter-in-law Roxanna. He is survived by: his wife Marie V. Gehring of Rubicon; his children, Catherine of Horicon, Edward of Watertown, Debra Schuett (Carl) of Watertown, Linda Miller (Bill) of Oconomowoc, James (Helen) of Watertown, Steven (Angie) of Watertown, Joanne Duffek (Don) of Hartford, Mary Rothschadl (Mike) of Watertown and Ellen Maxwell (Quentin) of Dousman; and his sisters, Betty Powers and Joan Genske. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home and Cremation Services (500 Welsh Rd, Watertown, WI 53098). A Mass will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Bernard's Catholic Church (114 S Church St, Watertown, WI 53094).
Bob was a prayerful, quiet man, in lieu of flowers or donations, Mass intentions would be appreciated for the repose of his soul.
