He is survived by: his wife Suzzanne Dettmann of Watertown; his children, Thayne Dettmann of Austin, TX, Autumn Schmidt (Kevin) and Sheridan Dettmann (Luke Cool) of Watertown; his grandchildren, Isabella Schmidt, Sloane Schmidt and Harry Schmidt; and his siblings, David Dettmann (Betsy) of Pella, IA, Ronald Dettmann of Jefferson and Ann Dorn (Dennis) of Watertown. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
