He is survived by: his wife Karen Free of John's Lutheran Church; his children, Denise Free, Dale Free (Diana) and Michael Free; his brother Gordon Free; his grandchildren, Elijah Kramer (Ashley), Zachary Kramer (Jessica), Blythe Gentz (Jamie), Aubrey Evans, April Lacosse (Andy), Crystal Free, Christopher Free and Hope Phillips; his great grandchildren, Justyce, Jadelynn, Aizlyn, Gavin, Amanda, Ashley, Gage, Kayce, Xavier, Lana, Jackson, Jameson, Evonna, Elonna, Isiah, Harmony, Haily, Nicholas, Johonna, Nolan, Brycen, Diane and Nyxanne; and his great great grandchild Alexis. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (1611 E Main St, Watertown, WI 53094). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Glenview Memorial Gardens (W1219 Glenview Ave, Ixonia, WI 53036). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
