It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley A. Buss of Watertown, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 15, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reinhold Gruel and Hilda Gruel (Kraemer); her brother Reinhold "Jake" Gruel; and her sister-in-law Marge Gruel. She is survived by: her sons, Rev. Allan Buss (Marie) and Timothy Buss (Katie); her grandchildren, Josiah Buss (Connie Eller), Marjorie Hiatt (Alex), Naomi Buss, Jesse Buss and Brycelynn Buss; and her stepgrandchildren, Jared Lamberton (Jozelle Roberts) and Allyson Almendarez (Mukunda Kapanaiah). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
Shirley requested memorials be made to St. John's Lutheran Church (Stained Glass Fund), the Watertown Senior Center, or the Northern Illinois District of the LCMS (future church worker assistance). Keep Shirley's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
