With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley J. Carter of Watertown, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 10, 2026 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley J. Carter to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archibald Cleveland and Bertha Cleveland (Sohns); and her siblings, Leona, Bernice and Gerald.
She is survived by: her daughter Sheryl Marshall (Paul); her grandchildren, Christopher Marshall, Tiffany Stark (Mike) and Leah Karstens; her great grandchildren, Gavan Stark, Kolton Stark and Alexander Marshall; and her sister Julia Checkai. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Watertown Humane Society in Shirley's name would be appreciated by the family.
