He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Herschi and Margaret Herschi (Kufahl); his sister Florence Wegner (Ed); and his siblings-in-law, Ron, Judy, Gene, Jacqui, Sandy, Junior and Wally.
He is survived by: his wife Toni Herschi of Watertown; his son Nick Herschi (Renee) of Savage, MN; his grandchildren, Taylor Herschi and Evan Herschi; his sister Marliss Steindorf of Watertown; and his nieces and nephews, Sarah Corrie (Yileng Vang) of Appleton, Julia Kopan (Brian) of Santa Paula, CA, Shari Bines (Jeremiah Ward) of Appleton, Rusty Steindorf (Rachel) of Watertown and Scott Steindorf (Tami) of Alaska. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (304 N 6th St, Watertown, WI 53094). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:15 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Glenview Memorial Gardens (W1219 Glenview Ave, Ixonia, WI 53036).
