He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Hadler and Florence Hadler (Hoffmann); his wife Beverly Retzer; and his brothers, Harold, Warren "Dick" and Frank Hadler.

He is survived by: his daughter Keri Eichner (Bob) of Waubeka; his granddaughter Kaylin; and his sister Dorothy Thompson of Grafton. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
