Bernard left this world on October 16, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand (Marie Erdmann) and Milwaukee; his grandson Roger Menzel; and his brother Richard Erdmann. He is survived by: his wife Clara Erdmann; his children, Sandra Matte (Terry Helmbrecht), Cary Erdmann (Karen), Susan Menzel (Peter), Julie Glazewski (Dennis) and Jean Dlapa (Steve); his grandchildren, Leah Evenstar, Joshua Erdmann (Meghan), Therese Joiner (Steven), Jacob Menzel (Kelli), Catherine Levine (Matthew), Roxanna Menzel, Nolan Glazewski (Alyssa), Kelsey Glazewski, Jordan Glazewski, Cait Mertens (Jordan), Cortney Perez (Noe), Connor Dlapa and Carter Dlapa; his great grandchildren, Sage, Iris, Ember Mertens, Jace Perez, Aria, Leo Menzel and Carson Glazewski; and his sister-in-law Lois Erdmann. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bridge Church (1314 S Grand Ave, Waukesha, WI 53186). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Mount Olivet Cemetery (3801 W Morgan Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53221).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Center or Smile Train.
