He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Rawls and Margie Rawls; his grandsons, Miles and Paul Behnke; and his brother Johnny Rawls.

He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Jonathan Rawls (Holly), Sarah Behnke (Matt), Rachel Veit (Tyler), Michael Rawls (Savanha) and Rebecca Rawls; his grandchildren, Lily and Ben Rawls; his children, Ruthie Behnke, Adalyn, Caleb Veit and Scarlett Rawls; and his sister Lisa Hoover (Jerry). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
