He is survived by: his wife Sharon Garvens of Waukesha; his sister Janet Pingel; his brother-in-law Terry Timm; his nephew Howard; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sarah Groskreutz (Brian), Stephanie Adrihan (Mike), Shawn Pingel (Suzie), Shannon Pingel, Shelly Christianson (Colton), Ezri, Alizee Adrihan, Carolynn Groskreutz, Prairie Christianson, Ethan Groskreutz and Aksel Christianson. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
